To suit original single barrel carb (Zenith or Autolite) intake manifold.
To suit the following vehicles:
Ford Escort
Ford Cortina
Ford Capri
Any right hand drive vehicle fitted with Kent Crossflow 1300cc and 1600cc engines.
This is a bolt on kit designed for the above vehicles. It includes the following parts:
– FAJS 32/36DGEV carb – modified and jetted to suit standard Kent 1.3 litre or 1.6 litre (carb can be re-jetted to suit modified engines upon request)
– High flow chrome rectangular air cleaner with cotton gauze air filter element
– One-piece Redline adaptor plate with gaskets & fitting kit
– Ford style accelerator rod linkage
– Fitting instructions with colour photos – sent via email
Brand new FAJS 32/36DGEV electric choke carburetor.
– Fitted with Ford mechanical style throttle linkage.
– Fuel inlet can be swapped to left or right side to ease installation.
– Additional fuel bowl vent if required.
– Carb has both ported and full manifold vacuum connections for distributor vacuum advance.
– Carb is supplied with jetting spec sheet and pre-shipping checklist with tuning and setup advice.
Our pre-shipping preparation on all our carbs includes:
– adjustment of float height
– adjustment of primary and secondary butterfly throttle stops
– adjustment of idle mixture screw
– adjustment of choke fast idle setting
– general carb inspection to confirm correct operation of throttle, acc pump, choke mechanism, etc.
– we also offer a re-jetting service to customise the carb jetting to suit your engine specs.
The above is done in our workshop before posting out any carb. We don’t simply re-box carbs from Weber or FAJS. All this ensures you can bolt the carb on and it will perform as it should out of the box, ready for tuning on your engine.
Our stock is in Australia, ready to ship. We only keep genuine FAJS and Weber carbs in stock. FAJS are the leaders in the Chinese aftermarket for carbs and throttle bodies, and have quality control comparable to Weber in Spain. But regardless of that, we prepare the carbs here in our workshop so you’re not relying on Spanish or Chinese quality control, which neither are the best. You can’t bolt a carb onto your engine, out of the box straight from China or Spain and expect it to run well. They need to be inspected and adjusted, and in most cases, jetted for your engine.
Jetting kits – We also offer jetting kits to suit, so you can tune the carb once it’s fitted and running on your engine, and we can tailor the jet kit to suit the initial jetting of the carb, so you have several sizes of leaner and richer jets to try out. Message us for more info.
Fitting kits – We also have fitting kits for specific vehicles in our other ebay listings, which includes everything you need to bolt a Weber carb to your manifold and connect the accelerator cable with the best quality components you can buy. Quality one-piece adaptor plates (not the two piece style), and throttle linkage components and brackets. These are the components we always use when fitting up Weber carbs, they’re proven products that perform the best.

Some kits available use generic cables and brackets designed for left hand drive cars from the United States, etc, which means the accelerator comes in from the opposite side to what Australian right hand drive cars do. These parts are generally not compatible with right hand drive Aussie cars, or require modification to get them to work correctly. Our kit works correctly out of the box!

The Weber 32/36DGV is a twin barrel downdraught carburetor with mechanical secondary, 32mm and 36mm butterflies, with 26mm and 27mm main venturis. It is ideally suited to modified 4 cyl engines. They can support up to about 125hp@flywheel in a non-turbo application.
So they’re a fantastic performance upgrade for Holden Gemini, Mitsubishi Sigma & Scorpion, Toyota Corolla, Hilux & Celica, to name a few.
This carby was fitted standard o 1800cc and 2000cc engines such as from Ford Esort and Cortina, and was fitted to 2.3litre engines in the US. It will flow plenty of air, enough for a worked 2 litre to make good power. We have made 150hp@wheels with one of these exact same carbs on a 2 litre Gemini G200 in a blow through turbo configuration.
The butterflies on the 32/26 DGV are progressive, that is the primary butterfly is smaller than the secondary, and open first. With this method of carb operation, you get both economy by running on the primary circuit, and power when you open up the larger secondary butterfly by flooring the accelerator.
It is a factory manual choke, however the choke plates can easily be removed to increase airflow through the carby, whilst still retaining the high idle feature of the choke.
