Brand new reproduction (not genuine European Weber) 48DCO side draught carb.
DCO carbs do not have cold start enrichment like DCOE carbs, and are designed for high performance and racing use.
Purchase price includes basic re-jet to suit your application! Change of chokes size or emulsion tubes is small additional cost.
The 48DCO is the next step up in carb size from the 45DCOE carb, using 48mm butterflies, as opposed to 45mm butterflies in the 45DCOE. They 48DCO carbs also have the ability to run larger chokes, which gives overall greater air flow and power potential.

The 48DCO carb is the next size up carburetor from the world renowned 45DCOE. The 45DCO largest choke size is a 40mm, whilst the 48DCO carb can accept chokes in the range of 36 to 46. Just google 48DCO or 45DCOE and you'll find more info than you will have time to read.

We also spec all of our carbs with full manifold vac ports, so if you want a run a full manifold vacuum system for brake booster or ignition vacuum advance, and were going to drill and tap each manifold runner to install a fitting, you don't need to because each barrel of each carb has a vacuum port that you can use. And we have the small hose tails fittings available too to connect your vac lines to.
We
can supply single or twin DCOE intake manifolds for most engines including
linkage kits and soft mount gasket kits.

Purchase price includes basic re-jet to suit your application (mains, air correctors or idle jets). Change of chokes, acc pump jets/bleeds, auxiliary venturi size or emulsion tubes is an additional cost.
As with any carb swap, we can only take an educated guess at the jet sizes your engine will need, so even though the carbs should run quite well out of the box, once fitted to your engine, fine tuning will be needed to optimise power and economy. We can also supply optional jetting packs of 4 x jets for $20 (either mains, air correctors or idle jets), so you can have the jets handy when you do your fine tuning.
